Free VDB files for everyone!

After seeing the incredible work being done by artists in the Blender community, we decided to release a set of free VDB files licensed as CC0 (Public Domain). We feel that giving artists free access to high quality volumetric sequences will benefit everyone. These free VDB animations were created using our professional grade software EmberGen and should be an incredible addition to your projects.

As mentioned above, all of these VDB animations were generated with our real-time simulation software EmberGen and you can learn more by clicking here.

We were able to generate all six (6) VDB sequences from a few edited presets in under 25 minutes. Our high resolution smoke plume export was created inside of our internal beta version and took less than 10 minutes to get from a blank slate to the finished simulation.
